		<description>rglmc, just realized who you are!  Glad you&#039;re posting!  You&#039;re absolutely right about the key being to pay off the balance every month.  When I&#039;ve used a card to get something, over time, I generally end up spending more than I save.  When I was flying, I did get a few free plane tix with a Skymiles card.
